  • The temperature within the infrared sauna sits between 140-165 degrees, this is the optimum temperature to receive full benefits of the sauna.

In your first few sessions it can take around 10-20 minutes to break a sweat. This is because our saunas are heating your body directly and raising your core temperature, rather than simply heating your skin with hot air.

This is a defining difference from a traditional or community sauna you might have used before. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature on a regular basis, your sweat will become more excessive and start sooner into your session.

The more you come in, the better you will feel. Just like working out or dieting, it will take a few sessions before benefits begin to manifest.

  • Our saunas are made from cedar wood which is naturally anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. Infrared lighting and the sauna temperature are also natural disinfectants. We clean the rooms after each use and provide fresh towels.

  • Drink enough water before, during, and after your sauna session. It is also recommended to eat a light meal before your session to avoid feeling faint or light headed as the sauna will activate your cardiovascular system and increase your heart similar to a slow jog.

We have filtered water that you can fill your water bottle up with. We also provide drinks, electrolytes, and healthy snacks for purchase

  • Swimsuits are great, but if you feel more comfortable having clothes on, lightweight clothing is best.

We also recommend bringing clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session – there is nothing worse than trying to put on tight clothing when you are hot and sweaty!

You will bring your personal belongings in the room with you. Fresh towels and a bag for your wet clothes, will be provided for you.

We recommend wearing a swimsuit for your session or something you are comfortable getting in the cold water in.

  • Cold Plunge suites are reserved for 20 minutes. We recommend cold plunging for up 3 to 5 minutes. If you are new to the cold plunge, aim for 30 seconds of exposure using a box breathing technique (inhale for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds). Focusing on a breathing technique can help you stay present and committed to the deliberate cold exposure.

If you have any question we are happy to help. Please don’t hesitate to ask!

  • Yes, all of our cold plunge suites are completely private and secluded. The room you book into will be allocated to you for the entire time of your booking (up to 15 minutes).
